Corsair 4000d airflow i7 11700kf at 1.3450 volt and 4.9ghz on all core, be quiet dark rock pro 4 4x120mm be quiet shadow wings 2

I want to run it at 5ghz but need alot more cooling

360mm aio in the front theres no cool air in the case for my gpu, with 2x140 mm fans in the top or 3x120 where nr 3 is close to the i/o shield

I can't deside on a 240 or 280mm aio, is 240mm enough, i don't want to go crazy in price and i hate pump noise

I have enough 140mm artic p12 pwm pst fans in case i need some.

Artic freezer is really good but also thick and not to me super silent (pump and the small vrm fan)

100 euros

Benchmark Scores They're pretty good, nothing crazy.
280 is good -- almost as good as 360. 240 push pull / or 280 should be enough BUT at 1.34v is a lot of volts for 4.9 not sure its going to be worth pushing that for 100Mhz even with a 360. You will probably gain more spending time on Ram sub-timing/Ring OC.

Maybe see if you can dynamically OC to 5.1/5.2 @ ~1.4v and then drop bins past 90C back to 4.9 1.34 on all core?

That way your games will run fine @5.2 but if you decide to play some cinebench the chip won't sit at 100C bouncing off the throttle the whole time.

If you want quiet you will need a 360mm push pull in the front, with additional fans to push cold air from the bottom compartment into the GPU.

What 280mm aio can do it, with focus on pump noise

When you search for an aio the first thing you have count is leakage damage warranty, corsair have it

Deepcool have the anti leak systme and good warranty but they might not be the best aio but the can be had for under 100 euros, dollars, even in a 3 fan version

From what I understand the Arctic LF II is the quietest AIO pump available? If that’s too loud I’d consider EK or Alphacool, not sure if Seiftech is still selling their solution.

The pump in the artic freezer II is no more quiet then kranken x.. and Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R RGB

It's also thicker than most aios, it can be to thick depending on what mb,case or even ram you have

Once had a Alphacool 360mm aio, it has alot of coilwhine, it was disappointing, they are also not whitin my budget

That anti leak system its more a marketing than a real feature all aio can leak and The most important is when it fail, you will covered by warranty and not to need send overseas. the most performer is lian li galahad, but dont know about warranty.

I choose corsair because it have a local post 50km far from my house, I can delivery by my hands if it fail

Just curious, do you have a source for these noise measurements? I haven’t found a place that tests pump noise since SPCR and would love to see it! Everything I’ve read said the Arctic should be quieter than the Asetek/Kraken but I haven’t seen comparisons to the new CM dual-chamber pumps.

65mm — quick google says it’ll only fit in the 4000d if you have low profile RAM

OP, when you say you want run it at 5GHz, is that all cores? 1.345v @ 4.9 all core can escalate substantially when at 5.0 all core. If it's the mobo in your system specs, it will struggle with 12+1+1 power delivery.

That board isn't fantastic but I am unconvinced that it will be a problem before the CPU cooling is, at least under AVX with that kind of voltage. Even the arctic 240, which is basically the only AIO at that price point will not manage to cool the ~300w or so the CPU will pull under AVX.

I have had the mentioned aio's, i just now have a cpu i need a little more cooling to get it to 5ghz

Depends on how big the heatsinks are on the mb, since i have to use it in the top, i can't see no other way of getting cool air in the case if i have to use the top of the case for in or outtake (max 3 fans, top fans out and the rear as intake or the opposite make no sense to me)

when i want 5ghz i can't use a 120 or 140mm aio + what ever fan i can use in the front for more cool air when top fans are
exhaust

it's of course 5ghz on all cores,it boosts to 5ghz, have had no problems with the mb

occt, it's of course alot hotter in ibt and prime 95 small fft

How big/many can your case fit? An aio might work but you may need a bigger one to get the job done or a second smaller rad (120-140mm) in addition to the 240mm which you can bolt to your rear exhaust fan.

How would the 240 be oriented in your case? Sideways on the top of the case or vertical at the front? Also are you using it as an exhaust or intake setup? And is a 360mm out of the question?

360 is out of the way since it can only be used in the front, there for i wouldn't have enough air intake fans since the air from the aio is lukewarm, nothing like only case fans in the front would blow into the case

Top 2 exhaust fans, 1 rear intake, the cold air from the rear fan wouldn't do nothing for my gpu since the 2 top fans would take all of the cool air out of the case but for it can make a difference

2 intake at the top would blow cold air in to the case only to be blown out (atleast by the fan closest to the rear fan) with only 1 fan blowing cold air into the case (just between the front and the gpu)

My old cpu was at 4.8ghz i wanna do a little more, 5ghz is where i want to stop but it's all cores not 5.1-5.3 on 3-4 core and 4.6-4.8 on all cores

At 5ghz and 1.380 volt it peak many times at 100c in occt, peak at 4.9 ghz and 1.345 volt is 81c

I need a lot of cooling for 5ghz, what is the highest tdp air cooler and 240,280 and 360 aio ?

what is the highest tdp air cooler and 240,280 and 360 aio ?
It depends on the CPU, a 3600 for example will only ever be able to draw around 90w under any ambient cooling because the die is too small.

My rough estimates for rocket lake 8c parts are 260-320w (package power) custom water, <250w AIO, <200w dual tower air cooling. These are assuming "reasonable" fan noise limits and conventional thermal paste, you can always squeeze a bit more out of them if you use really fast fans and liquid metal.

My load voltage for my 11900k is around 1.35v, and that puts it at around 290w when rendering a video in resolve with AVX enabled and AVX512 disabled, which is about the limit for my cooling. Based on the experience of other people I would say pushing heavily into the 1.35v+ range is not feasible for high current loads such as these. If you want higher boost clocks for games you will have to use a power limit to keep it in check under higher current loads like rendering.

A 3600 can't do 5ghz on all core

occt 4.9ghz 220 watt ibt and prime small fft it goes crazy in temps and wattage

A 3600 can't do 5ghz on all core
That's not the point. A 7700k can do 5GHz but even under a custom water loop with a chiller you won't get it to 200w because again, the active die area of the cores is too small.
ibt and prime small fft it goes crazy in temps and wattage
That's just rocket lake for you. You either have to disable AVX or use a power limit if you want those loads to be usable.

What is your cache frequency like?

I can get away with 1.28v at 5ghz, but need cache 4.0ghz.

If I set cache 4.1ghz it will auto jump to 1.41, 4.3ghz is already 1.47v.

That said at 4.3ghz i can get away with 0.130v offset and make it 1.335v.

Cache, ring is one and the same thing.

Msi in my case auto set to 4.1ghz which would auto raise voltage more.

Post cpuz memory tab or aida64 memory benchmark
