what exactly does 'thermally optimized' mean here? sounds like PR double-talk, i.e., bullsnot.

And, as we can see, the RGB means 25% cooler temps and 25% increased prices.

Any improvement in pump noise? Arctic's pump is literally the only one in the market that is virtually silent.

3 year warranty? lol... nah... just go with Arctic, just as good if not better performance, icing on the cake VRM cooling fan, and a 6 year warranty on top of all that. and prob still cheaper than these.

I don't know what's new really. Looks pretty much like the same AIO from the last few generations, other than some fluffy marketing. I've used Corsair H100i Pro before and came out thoroughly disappointed with it. Not only did it got beaten by a Scythe Fuma 2 in terms of cooling performance, the ML fans sounded like a leaf blower at high RPM.

I agree that it makes more sense to consider Arctic Liquid Freezer II, since they have added ARGB/ RGB versions for people that absolutely cannot do without RGB. The 360 Liquid Freezer II I used to have is almost inaudible with the casing at the bottom of the desk. At high speed, I still cannot hear the pump noise, and the fans are not annoyingly loud. You can hear the humming of the fans but certainly nowhere near the air siren kind of screeching like those 120mm ML Corsair fans.

for my future builds I will be sticking with air 100%, water just scares the crap out of me with how expensive the other components are. I know it's not logical of me and its like 0.1% chance, but thats 0.1% chance I don't have to take cause air does just as good. lol

Couldn't have said it better. The ONLY knock against the LFII I have is the cable length of the fans. Because the cables are so short, you can't reuse the fans elsewhere inside your PC because the cables aren't long enough. I love everything else about my LF II though.

Corsair naming scheme has gone from bad to awful in the last 3 years. If you are not familiar with their own bs, you could think H55 RGB is the same exact AIO, H55, but with RGB. The same goes to H100. It was bad already going from H150i PRO to H150i PRO XT, and then CAPELLIX happened. I wish they'd be a little bit more user friendly, say for example, the time they went from H100, to H100i, to H100i V2, which wasn't perfect, but did make a lot more sense then current naming.

Three year warranty shouldn't make you happy this is just when they likely die but price increases again this shouldn't make you happy either
Five year warranty was likely eating bottom line.
