Ok, well I am posting this here because it's the first room on the list...
I have a Dell board, I got another cpu heat sink+fan for it. The plug from the fan is the typical 4 pin. The plug on the board is 5 pin. The fan plug is too thick to fit into the plug on the board and the 4 fan wires r all black... all that being said, my question is:
Is any way to tell which wire on is positive on a 4 wire fan connector when they r all the same color? Maybe where it connects to the fan itself... and if it's plugged in backwards will it fuck the fan up?
