CPU usage

So I was just looking at my CPU usage, got 12 GB's of RAM as of today, so was in the window. I noticed that alot of the CPU usage was coming up red:

Anyone know why / what this is? Got an i5 750 @ 2.67GHz (quad)

antivirus scanning.....auto defrag.....indexing.....really need more info tho...screan shot of task manager programs running at the very least.

Yes, W1z is right. It is the Kernel info. You can dis/enable in Task Manager by going: Performance Tab > View > Show Kernel Times
