Hi, I got to tell you my experience with power supply's first of all I had this 1200-watt power supply from Corsair for a long time then my system kept crashing on games so I figured out it was the power supply after Brian from britec09 told me it was. I contacted Corsair thinking they would know how old the PSU was and where I bought it from the serial number because I forgot they told me without the receipt they can't help me. well, that's ok I bought a new PSU from Amazon a Sea Sonic 1200w vertex put it in my system and the on-off switch did not work so I called Amazon and they told me to call Sea Sonic so I did and they have the nice customer service they sent me a new PSU and a water bottle and return shipping for the old one. I put the new PSU in my system and my system works great

If you bought your Corsair from somewhere like Amazon or Newegg, you can print off a copy of your receipt at your leisure. That is if you can remember where you purchased it?
