Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.2 + Intel Arrow Lake

CDPR is claiming up to 33% improvement on Arrow Lake CPUs. This would put the i9 at roughly 7800X3D performance level.

Has anyone seen anyone test this update yet?

Just to see if there would be any improvement to older hardware I ran the benchmark at 720p and no RT, before and after patching. There doesn't appear to be any difference on my older system. Was totally CPU bound the entire run.

1080p high settings shows a 103% increase to the minimums?

RT seeing the 33% mentioned?

Seems like this was rather substantial and threading has real problems overall in games.

Not 30%. Closer to 18% (4090) just for 1080p using the built in benchmark mode High Max settings with RT off. Also DLSS seems broken on both versions, but I know it works because FPS tanks without it for RT. So unless you have a 4090 and play at 1080, probably not going to see a difference at all. Maybe the 30% claim is for low to mid settings?

I can't really conclude that from this. Seems totally CPU bound at 1080p still to me.

The minimums are clearly better when cpu bound too. That's great it's not just the upper end that got better. Minimums looks like where a 30% claim could be made.
I think where this update probably shines the most currently is CPU bound situations at 1440p DLSS Q with RT Or 4K balanced RT. If the improvement can keep minimums on an Ultra 7 above 100fps instead of dropping into the mid 80s that would be significant in my eyes.
Hopefully this type of improvement can be accomplished in more games. This update should put arrow lake right between the 9800X3D and 7800X3D in this title. It seems to be quite a massive improvement as far as game updates go.
