The Electronic Power Research Institute, Knoxville, TN did verify the new modular be quiet! Dark Power Pro "First Class" power supplies with 450 watt, 550 watt and 650 watt within their 80plus program.

Within 80plus validation EPRI figured out an efficiency of more than 80% for all be quiet! Dark Power Pro "First Class" modular power supplies at 20%, 50% and 100% load. In comparison to Europe the validation-process did use a line voltage of 115V instead of 230V for Europe. This increases the demands on power supply technology.
