dell precision 3561 laptop quadro t600 or t1200.?

planning on getting this laptop
i have read a review on this laptop and they had the i9 11950h processor and quado t600
and temps were high as it only has 1 fan to cool the cpu and gpu.
want to get one with the 11850h cpu. but am not sure wich to pick quadro t600 or t1200
i have read the specs and for the gpu TDP both are different
some websites says 45w 90w other says 18w 45w (i think ive seen the 18w goes upto 95w.
i dont know where to get the right information for TDP
question is what is better the t1200 that can go from 18w to 95w or the t600 45w
will t1200 make cpu hotter.|?

Some laptops have one fan, others have two fans. It's possible that one large fan might have the same cooling capacity as two much smaller fans. I wouldn't be too concerned about the number of fans when buying.

The cooling system should be capable of preventing damage to the CPU and GPU, even if the underside of the laptop does get rather hot during intensive tasks. Keep the vents on the underside clear of obstruction and it should be OK, except if you live somewhere above 10,000ft / 3,000m.

Unless you're running on battery power most of the time, slight differences in peak power draw are immaterial. More important is GPU processing ability and battery size.

The Quadro T1200 bandwidth is faster than the T600 (160Gb/s vs 80GB/s) but overall, there's not a huge difference between the two GPUs.

The link above shows the TDP for the T600 and T1200 are identical at 18W.

Other considerations when choosing a laptop are price, number and type of USB ports, screen quality, availability, power brick size/weight.

What do you plan on using the notebook for, 3D animation or 3D cad work? What kind of battery life your you looking for?

If you are looking for good battery life and doing 3D cad work that does not have large assemblies, I would go with the T600, but if you plan on doing large cad assemblies or 3d animation, the T1200 would be better.

Get the system with the 1200. You'll be fine.

i have made some research and found many people posting about thermal throttle or overheating. even pn lptop media review they say the same but they had the i9 11950h they did mentioned to get the 11850h for better temps.
i live in a place were temps are quite high. and i assume that the cooler the better for electronics and for best performance so it doesnt thermal throttle.
i wonder if using a good thermal paste would help alonmg with some rubber feet.
i just chekced and says am 10m above sea level

yes i already checked all the specs
what i didnt understand was tdp some sites claim 18w other 45w it was confusing.
yes this is in my price range.

by the way my current laptop is a old dell m4600 i7 2760qm and quadro 2000m.

none of that. i just plan to use it for everything. browsing internet watch you tube videos, play some games. i was given a gift card to get me a newer pc. so first choice was the 3550 the person that gave me the giftcard suggested that.
i dont have alot of knowledge about cpu's but from the 3550 i started doing research
but i could not find any info or complete list of laptop processors by generation. example all the processor from 10th gen for laptops where you could see frequencies cache and number of cores.
so i started searching for i7 11850h and found this precision 3561. and it happend to be a workstation. i have read tha workstations last longer.

Well, I have a 5540 with the i7 and the T2000 card and it runs fine for me, but I manly use it for cad work and a few old games like UT99, and it runs fine. So, I think the i7 with the T1200 should be fine for you as long as battery life is not something you're looking for.

I have the 3550 but it doesn't have a dGPU but I mostly use it for music production and I want better battery and use of more chargers. Mine performs well for being an i5 10310u (4c8t 4.4Ghz max) very easy to upgrade the display too... upgraded mine from 1366x768 to 1920x1080 in 30min including watching a video and a lot of prep..

The precision 3xxx is equal to the latitude 5xxx so they are well built workhorses.

BTW on dell's site you can get the service manuals and that should show you what the fans are like and stuff

yes but your model have 2 fans. as for battery i really dont have experience ive always run it from ac adapter.

well 3550 has 1 fan too. but i5 10310U 4C8T does not compare to
U cpu to H i7 11850h 8C16T
are the latittude 55xx the same as thre precision 35xx
am going to check the service manual on my precision m4600 i think in manual it says cooling system tdp.
