Hello,

What forum section should I post this question.

I have a Dell T5500, 144GB Ram, Dual Xeon, K5200 Graphics Card, Sata 6 controller. Dual X5690 CPU and Samsung 860 EVo hard drive.

My question is do you think the M6000 Nvidia card would work in this Machine with 4 x U4320Q

Kind Regards

Robert

The only problem I see is that the M6000 uses 1x 8-pin power connector, and the stock T5500 power supply has 2x 6-pin connectors for graphics cards. You'd need to get an adapter for either 2x 6-pin to 1x 8-pin or 1x 6-pin to 1x 8-pin.
How did you manage to get 144GB of total ram??? I thought the T5500 could only support up to 72GB  Are your sticks 1333MHz or slower, or what??
For more results, I would highly recommend asking the same question in the Dell Workstation Owners Club:
