Hello I have 2xRadeon HD 5870.

When I ran an older game it began to have errors. I disabled CrossfireX and the problem ended. Is there a way to disable CrossfireX for just this game but not for others? That way I do not have to keep switching it on and off through the Control Center.

I think the best way would be to make two seperate profiles in the ATI catalyst? I never messed with crossfire before but I would imagine that the profiles are there for these specific reasons. I don't know if there is a easy way to automate it though.

just set Catalyst AI to OFF when u play the old games and turn it back ON for titles that support crossfire that simple takes but a few moments as Catalyst AI must be on for crossfire to work.

You could setup a profile to turn it off when using the selected application. It is then all automatic.

Nice thank you!

I now have two shortcuts on my desktop. One disables AI and the other enables it.

I click it OFF when playing old school games. This really helped.
