Display Lags :165hz and 75hz

I play on my main monitor that is 165 hz plugged DP and my second monitor 75hz plughed HDMI. I run 160 FPS in game on my main but suffer from huge frame drops and lags (even the audio). When i disconnect my second monitor i have my 160 fps clean. Is there a way to configure or i need a 165hz second monitor ?

Specs: i3 9100F
Prime H310M-E r 2.0
Gtx 1660 super x gaming
16gb rams
1TB SSD

your second monitor does require resources too and your PC specs are not all that great, they are good don't get me wrong. but you will want to just leave the second monitor unplugged when gaming I think, if that fixes the issue then you already answered your own question.

a higher refreshed monitor will actually tax your cpu and gpu even harder on the second monitor. so that would be a bad idea imo

what do you do on second monitor? youtube netflix? anything that require cpu/gpu usage will hurt you when gaming.

I watch twitch and put some music on youtube. I was planning on changing my cpu for rysen 5 3600XT and a better motherboard. Do you think it will fix the problem?

well if your changing your mobo and cpu someday it will fix the problem I think yes. i can't promise it will though

don't buy 3600xt... 5600x comes out november 5th. not far now!

Depends of the price too, the 3600XT is 340 Canadian dollars.
