Hi, i recently got a Nvidia Quadro 4000 from a friend and i bought a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter to use it on my tv. While the DVI port works great i can't get the two DPs working, neither in the bios or in Windows 10. I have tested the adapter on my iGPU DP and it's working so that's not the problem. Is it possible that i need a firmware update to get them working? If yes where can i find it?

Thanks

What's the difference? It's like a single cable that goes from displayport to hdmi, no external power ecc
Well, I'm not 100% sure what type of adapter you have to go from DP to HDMI, but if it is a passive adapter, it would require that your displayport be a displayport++ compatible port which allows DVI and HDMI signals to be passed through. If it's NOT DP++ compatible, then you would definitely need an active adapter to go from Displayport to HDMI.
From here.
