In my latest build with the Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H, i wanted to have two 140mm PWM fans in synchronization, over the Prolimantech Armageddon.
But Gigabyte did the trickery to offer real PWM support exclusively at the CPU four pin plug, all other five DC fan connectors (output) this is DC voltage control.
So I though to make a DIY solution, this is a tiny bridge which deliver PWM signal (from CPU_FAN) at both 140mm PWM fan.
Also the PWM Fan No2, this deliver it speed signal at the header (CPU_OPT).
The outcome, both in synchronization, both deliver rotation speed signal at ( CPU_FAN) & (CPU_OPT).
Parts list:
Tiny PCB
Two motherboard headers (removed from damaged boards).
Two Intel stock fan, four pin plugs (free of charge too).
With a bit of hot-glue, it become a solid accessory.
