Hi everyone, I have a problem with my Acer Aspire 3 15 44p, the BIOS does not allow me to increase the VRAM, it is maxed out at 512mb and everything is slow, does anyone know if I need a modified BIOS or how to change the VRAM value?

the system is in spanish: the DXDIAG img

Good luck on that, yeah but if it's not modded properly it will brick your precious laptop

Its usually down to the OS to decide how much memory to allocate.

If you have a lot of stuff running in the background that is eating up all your ram. consider shutting some stuff down before running games. I have seen reports of that GPu taking upto 2GB shared memory.

Adding more memory could also let windows allocate more to the GPu but the problem here is that the memory chips are soldered on so there isnt any way to get around it unless you know a good technician that specialises in board level repairs that can do work like this.

But by the time youve found someone and paid them to do the work. you might as well sell the laptop and buy another one.
