Do you use a mouse wire holder? If so, how have you liked it?

I am considering buying one of these as my last black friday purchase, sometimes when using my mouse I do have to readjust due to drag on it for some reason or other, 90% of the time it's completely fine. However, if I get one of these things would it fix it 100% of the time?

OOOOOOH i found something to 3d print i guess lol. Honestly my mouse weights a lot more than what ever t he drag from the wire is. So never mattered to me, I just keep a loop on the table and that works for me.

Well, I think the 'bungee' part of the one I screenshotted is the key here, it gives a little which might make all the difference for something like this. So, I am not sure 3d printing will work, but maybe.

No, my desk is ridiculously large. The wire just hard chills on top of it, unarsed.

Yes, I use one of this thing.
Thought it was a gadget, but it's useful.

I use it as well. Pretty practical for such little and inexpensive thing.

It also reduces/removes friction on the table edge at the end, because it doesn't move behind the bungee (my old braided cable became frail after some years of use)

Nope, but actually I've been thinking of getting one. Currently my mouse (and keyboard) wire goes together my monitor stand's cable management hole.

Used one for years. As long as you leave enough extra hanging from the holder, its fine.

It does eliminate the cord catching, but the one I had was powered and offered USB ports too, so it was a tad more useful.

I´ve bought the same one 10 years ago. Its plastic softerner was oozing out so it went to the bin.

2014 wirelss mice had a latency of around 30-50ms
Back then my reaction time was around 170ms.
So i really could feel the added wireless latency on top.

Nowadays the wireless latency is down to 5-0,35ms latency!

Even an ESL gamer would be hard pressed to prove that a cable mouse still delivers added value.

But hey, the easiest person to lie to is the one in the mirror.
So keep on doing what you tell yourself is best!

That mouse bungee holder looks nice but personally, I prefer to have my cables stay as out-of-sight as possible. It seems like that would not just keep them visible but say "look at me!"

I've gone wireless but in the past I used a large paper binder clamped to the back of my keyboard/mouse tray, then ran the keyboard and mouse cables through the binder's loops. The loops typically come free if you squeeze/pinch each side together so you can insert the cables then pinch and reattach the loops. These work great as they keep the cables out of the way while still allowing free movement without the cables getting snagged in the smooth loops.

And for sure, the price is right.

Of course, depending on the configuration of your desk, YMMV. You may not have a convenient place to clamp one of those binders.
