Does the Gigabyte X870I AORUS PRO ICE Support GPU Passthrough

I'm building a new PC, and I have a CalDigit TS4 Docking Hub where I connect my peripherals, including my monitor (Asus ROG XG27ADQMG, 1440p 240hz) through the DisplayPort that's on the CalDigit. My plan is to connect the CalDigit to my PC via the Thunderbolt 4 port from the CalDigit to the USB4 port of my motherboard. I currently have an Asus SOG STRIX x670E-I, but I was considering returning it for the Gigabyte one mentioned in the title since the USB4 ports on both motherboards are Thunderbolt 4 certified, but the Gigabyte one is much cheaper.

My question is will connecting the CalDigit to my motherboard cause the monitor to use the iGPU on my CPU (9800x3D) instead of my GPU (4070 Ti Super)? I've heard issues with this, and some motherboards like the ProArt x670 have a DisplayPort IN where you connect the DisplayPort on the GPU to the DisplayPort on the motherboard and then use the USB4 port to connect to your KVM/Docking Hub. Some motherboards even explicitly mention if they have GPU passthrough, but these two do not. I wanted to know if anyone can confirm what the behavior is. If they dont, then my plan was to keep the Asus since that one has 2 USB4 ports that are also DisplayPort Alt Mode ports, so I can just connect a DisplayPort to USB4 cable from my GPU to one of the USB4 ports on the Asus motherboard, then use the other port to connect to my CalDigit. Thanks in advance for the help!
