I bought my R5 2600 of AliExpress new for $100, most new Ryzen CPUs of AliExpress come without a cooler so you will have to buy it separately.
I needed something quiet, efficient and CHEAP.
I was going to get the same cooler that AMD includes with their 2600, the Wraith Stealth. it was priced at nearly $9, but guess what the Wraith Spire was less than $4 more than the Stealth so i thought why not?!
I recieved them all 2 days ago and the paste on the cooler looked weird it looks like this one exactly:
CPU was peaking at 86°C at Prime95 at 3.55GHz across all cores.
tbh it was fine to me, but i thought since i had an MX-4 tube in my disk why not change the stock weird looking paste?
Anyway that's what i did and the results were: "drums"... an improvement of ZERO°C.
In the end i'm satisfied but i thought i should share what happened with you guys.
Stay safe.
