Ducky introduces us to inductive switch keyboards, with this new switch type aiming to improve upon existing magnetic/optical switches in many ways including cost of production and implementation, higher battery efficiency in wireless mode, and finer control over the customizable actuation range. The keyboard also features a new web-based configurator to minimize software bloat.

Loving the trend to move to web-based configurators. I've never used an inductive switch, but the description of these sounds pretty great.

Looks nice and well built, but I'm watching for:

A) User reviews/comments
B) Fix for wobbly keys...not sure about this, as all the mech keebs I/ve owned have had a little wobble, so this may or may not be an issue for me :D
C) Price reduction/discounts
D) Software updates

Until the company goes kaputt and the web service goes offline...
Web-based may simply mean "opens in a browser". I generally prefer native applications for such things, but peripheral companies seem to struggle writing efficient/compact configurators. An HTML-based interface also is conveniently OS-independent (mostly).

The godawful software kills it. Completely. The entire point of HE keyboards, the reason why many purchase them, is great customization. Making the board do exactly what you want or need. And for that, well, you need an intuitive and feature-packed software solution, browser-based or otherwise. And this ain’t it. If screenshots and VSGs description weren’t enough, I recommended anyone interested watch the review by Diamond Lobby on YT to see just how fucking DIRE the software is. And at this price? In this market where solid HE boards regularly come out for cheaper and cheaper? Yeah, this is a DOA product.

Maybe, but it would still mean local software (hopefully more lightweight). The implementation in this review is still strictly web based.

HOW? The sw is web-based, your pc here... meh, still seems cr*p like the brand "name". I wouldn't trust to allow to control my pc over the web...

Totally not interested ( but that's due to owning a Wooting Two ) and close too what wooting do, how ever that software is a real let down, and only a 1 year warranty.

I assume it requires internet however.

Going by the review there is software too, as he says

Software:Yes, web-based
