Man, this game is something else. It's Gen-Z Borderlands minus the guns, fun, humor, self-awareness (so basically just the look). Actually runs OK (hell no, I didn't buy it), but that's about it.

Words are weapons, and you have the power of triggered. My wife and I got about an hour of really hard laughs out of it. It is awful, and I highly recommend getting super baked and wielding the power of ethinc-diversity and blue hair.

Don't spend any money on it, but damn, get a good laugh out of this dumpster fire.

10/10 laughter, 0/10 game.

I will leave it to you to listen to your favorite reviewer talk about how bad it is. Seriously bad game, and it is worth playing just to see how bad it is. Like watching a bad movie on MST3K, it's wonderfully terrible.

But hey, at least now they tried and horribly failed. Hopefully that will be an indicator to the execs at big name studios to say "look, its been done, it crashed harder than a led zeppelin, and obviously the landwhales with the same haircuts, blue hair colour, horn rimmed glasses and tats all over the place and cow nose ring piercings, are not our core audience. So can we now go back to making games?"

But we all know that aint gonna happen. Wudong should have been obvious to all of them that if you ignore all the haters and "Journalists", that you can be successful.

Everything I've heard about this game has made me desperately want to believe it's an elaborate bit. That the writers and developers wanted to make fun of these tropes instead of lean into them. Unfortunately, it seems like that's not what it is, and that's just sad.

This is what a lot of people seem not to be getting. Don't turn this into a "woke" vs right-wing conversation. A bad game is just bad, and even left-wing people can agree that this game is exceptionally poorly written. Not even syncopates want a game that seems like it's making fun of them.

It is more than just a bad game. It has bad politics, and that is the primary purpose of it. It isn't a game designed with fun being the first thing in mind. The game part is secondary. It isn't uncommon for games or movies to have some type of political commentary but it shouldn't be the primary reason a game or movie exists. Their politics resemble that of a mentally deranged 12 year old, which is why it won't resonate with most rational people and why the sales are poor. Bad gameplay is just icing on top.

God it's like a broken record. I meant what I said, and the inverse is true too. "Woke" really has little play here (love to see you guys try to define the term). Good writing is a separate and distinct issue.

I'm sorry, next time I make a game I'll be sure and check with the game police. Newsflash: most games real primary purpose is to fleece you first and the rest is ALL secondary.

What makes this game bad isn't politics, but shitty writing. Bioshock was chock full of politics and people loved it.
