Experience with Phenom II x4 920/925?

Does anyone have hands on experience with that thing? My setup is rather dated so I decided to squeeze a little more out of it. I had to bump the voltage from 1.32 to 1.4V in order to go from 2800 to 3150MHz.

During Prime95 run it shows the core voltage at 1.47V, temps around 57C.
Now, I tried to google it but all I could find is people achieving notably better numbers (3.4GHz@1.4V, 3.3GHz@1.36V etc.) but with DDR2 memory, while I'm running this on DDR3. I'm wondering if there's any point in pushing further.

That's a heck load of volts for such a low clock speed, drop it to 1.4.

I think you would do a lot better with a better board, a 780G or 790FX board with good healthy VRM circuitry.

That bad, huh? Well, I'm in no position for any changes right now. Best case scenario - I can save enough for a completely new rig somewhere in 2017-2018.

I'm stable right now - ran prime for a couple of hours with no issues. I'm a bit confused though - why does the VCore under load is 0.7V higher than what I setup in BIOS? C&C is disabled since it doesn't work properly.

You can prolly get away with just a MB now, if you do, go for a 990FX or really try to wait it out for the AM4 generation.
