Fake Samsung 870 EVO Came to 2 People in a different forum, Firmware number was fake, label was crooked, box content was missing, material was poor quality, and Samsung Magican software was also reporting that it was fake. Has anyone here experienced or heard of this situation?

Benchmark Scores i've got a shitload of them in 15 years of TPU membership
no surprise to see counterfeit SSD, USB sticks are widely counterfeited at above 32GB
I have also seen tons of counterfeit RAM too
RAM? In what way? People can attach stickers of ''Crucial'' or ''Samsung'' to some lower tier ass manufacturer RAM, but the performance numbers should be the same if specs are equal in timings. Unlike SSDs and USBs, where you can literally get shit performance under some branded fake sticker.

The RAM below turned out to be fake and slower than 6400

The firmware number is a giveaway it is indeed fake, that firmware number does not exist with samsung 870EVO SSD.
Normally firmware number from an 870EVO is SVT03B6Q, SVT02B6Q or SVT01B6Q, nothing else.

There a lot of them in Turkish regions spread, that are fake i heard from colleges.

You should see something like this for a REAL Samsung SSD.

Better to buy Chinese brand than fake big brand if cant afford legit big brand. Because with these fakes often the capacity is fake so data "will" get corrupt and lost.

First time hearing this kind of situation, but then again... :D ebay and aliexpress.
Even amazon these days man.

I tried to report a clearly fake ssd card on amazon, no response. Left a review, it was deleted. Like what the hell? The fact that it was like the first search result, and somehow they were able to get negative reviews deleted just pisses me off so much. We might know better. But lots of people don't, and I don't like to victim blame. Its either negligence or malice on amazon's part... take your pick.

Nowadays you have to pay close attention, there are of course Chinese brands that are really quality. You should not underestimate them, they can certainly produce quality. Unfortunately, the fact remains that there is a demand for cheap SSDs, and they are happy to respond to that. As long as there is demand, it will never go away.
