Ordered some NCC 16V 2200μF KZE 10x25mm capacitors on ebay only to find that the real deal 16V 2200μF KZE does not come in 10x25mm size

you need a multimeter to test them

also some caps can be custom made leftovers from manufactures so they could be real you wont know unless test them

Fakes would also be 2200μF, so not sure what you are suggesting I test; I'm after the NCC capacitors for endurance (and low ESR) as they were to replace capacitors that are working just fine.

Well if you want to be sure just go digikey or mouser, no shocker that they have fake caps on ebay which is why i would never buy from there.

In any case depending on what you're doing with them they might be fine.

I guess I'd check the ESR (equivalent series resistance) as I have a meter, it should be around 0.018Ω at 20°C (for the 16V 2200μF KZE) according to
