This is my first time posting here, sorry if I did anything wrong. I saw a used reference RX 580 4GB (at least it is what the seller claims to be) for pretty cheap, so I decided to take the risk and grab it. After confirming that it does work, I proceeded to clean and repaste the card. I also did some visual inspection. Here are some pictures.

Oddly it only has a single 6-pin connector (I think it is supposed to be one 8-pin). I have heard of a Dell OEM 580 with red PCB that only has a single 6-pin connector. But I have never seen one like mine with black PCB. I asked the seller and he claims that it is a low power version of the 580. Here are the GPU-Z and 3DMark screenshots.

I should also mention that DDU recognize it as Polaris 10 instead of Polaris 20. The GPU die does not have any marking (I am not sure if RXs have such marking). I looked up the numbers on GPU die side and most results are related to RX 480 reference. I also Googled the P/N on the back of the PCB but nothing showed up. My guess is that it is a reference RX 480 flashed to 580. What do you guys think, should I attempt to flash back to 480 vBIOS?

EDIT: Under the "Advanced" tab I saw an interesting thing. The board power limit is 110W, and I never see it go past that even in intense situations. It could very well be a power limited version of RX 480/580.
EDIT 2: Here is the link I got from the "Lookup" button. Looks like it has a DVI output so it is unlikely to be my card.

There's a number of RX580 with that device ID also @4GB.

This is exactly what it looks like. It's got a PCPartner sticker on it so its safe to assume it's an OEM card. Some RX 480s were resold as 580s with no physical changes with some brands, and the PCB number matches the reference 480.

Can you use the upload bios button on gpuz and see if there is a copy in the database

How do I do that, is it the "Lookup" button?
Edit: There is also a "Validation" tab.

That's a good find, my card has the exact same frequency as the last one with 1340 core and 1750Mhz memory.
I have also added some extra info to the original post (power limit).

Probably an ex-mining card flashed to something that worked, without being the stock Bios.

I just uploaded the BIOS, here is the link:
It shows up as a Yeston card again. Now my main concern isn't whether it's a 480 or 580, but whether I should try to flash a reference 480/580 BIOS.

Post the number stamped onto the memory chips please, eg: Samsung K4G41325FE

The photos I took doesn't show the memory chips very well. I am afraid I have to take my card apart to see the chips again. GPU-Z shows it's Samsung K4G41325FE though.

My suggestion would be to try flashing 480 bioses to it as those memory chips were used from 460 through to 5 series.
If the chips have HC 25 after the memory chip number they are the faster 8.0Gbps, HC 28 are 7.0Gbps.

I am not experienced in finding and flashing BIOS so I am going to need some advice.
After some looking I there are 3 BIOS in my selection:
These seems suitable but I am confused by the memory timings.
Almost every BIOS has different timings. How to determine if it is suitable?
Do I need to find a BIOS with the exact same device ID and subsystem ID?

Just wanna update that I flashed a 480 BIOS and everything is working fine for now. It seems to run quieter too. Thanks a lot for everyone's help.
