Seems like they are going to blast off around 12:45 p Pacific time. My work has gone into this spacecraft. I'm proud to be a part of this. Please take a bit of time to witness history.

Congratulations SpaceX! That was an amazing test launch. They now have the most powerful heavy lift system and Tesla just set all kinds of records for their car. Have to check them against the lunar rover, but I'm sure they broke quite a few!

UPDATE- According to The Verge the core booster was lost. It crashed into the ocean next to the drone ship:
