Fell for the Chinese wannabe RX 580 8GB 2048SP cards - VBIOS Flashing issue

I bought 2 x AMD RX 580 8GB 2048SP cards, thinking it was a bargain... Should have know better. Anyway, the cards would not show any display with only one monitor plugged in, you had to have two monitors plugged in, DP and HDMI. It hard crash with any type of load pushed to it. Thought it was overheating but no, then thought it was drivers, installed the AMD Adrenalin software but that crashes it too. I then only installed the drivers which seemed to have worked for a little before crashing again. After that I started digging and seems to be a very common issue with these Chinese rips - Aisurix. Looks like the VBIOS was the issue. I searched for a bios with what I thought was the correct specs but alas it was the wrong memory. The card still displayed and crashed but I cannot manage to reflash it again, I ran into a plethora of issue and seem I need to force it with v2.93 but keep getting "Failed to read ROM ERROR: 0FL01" issue. Can't even manage to flash it back to the backup. Not sure if this is bricked now or not. I did open the card up and saw it has Samsung K4G80325FB RAM installed. Haven't done anything to the second card. Not sure where to from here.

Any advice apart from trashing it? Original GPU-Z screenshot attached.

If you find someone willing to hunt for the right bios you can always do the pin mod to enable writes, or if you have access to a programmer you can just do it yourself.

Pull your card apart and get a picture of the metal frame with numbers around the GPU Die and a picture of a ram chip please

I have a flash guide

Theres a list, on each file scroll down and verify it states Samsung FB ram in the details.

Looks like I might have to, tried jumping the pins but that proves be a little difficult.

Will do when I have time again. Will do for both. Thanks for the time though.

Thanks will give it go if I manage to unbrick the card.

Yeah just see alot of these chinese market AMD OEM Cards (1002 6FDF 1002 0B31) and been tired of doing the search.

Majority have bee mine abused as well
Thanks, tried most of them before. The DOS one gave me hope but get an adapter not found error. So either jumping the pins or programmer from here on I think.

UPDATE: I managed to bypass BIOS by shorting the pings, allowed me to program again. I tried 253019 @Ripcord suggested (no luck), but at least I can try some more now.

I did. there are a lot none of them seem to work. I took the pics for both cards. What am I looking for when trying to find bios that will work? The RAM make and chip code and the chip first 3 codes?

You are not showing the PCB at all. Please make a picture of the whole PCB without the headsink or backplate installed.

Pretty important, because the primary Device ID for Example 1002 **** vs 10DE **** (AMD vs Nvidia) is what chip maker its from, then 67DF is like a full powered Polaris 20/30 Chip and 6FDF is like the 580 2048 SP. Now in subsystem ID 1002 is AMD the card maker, or 1DA2 is by Sapphire, then E366 is the particular pcb itself, 0B31 being a particular PCB.
