First AGP 3850 review...

Well it's the first one I've found, doubt it's the first one on the web. Another thing is, if you don't understand or like the Inquirer's satirical style of writing, don't chalk that up to be bad journalism. Take it and stick it up y'ass. I hate the amount of bullshit people art on these forums about how discreditable the site is. That's bullcrap, y'just too stupid to understand their sense of humour.

If only I could find some cheap DDR500 I'd be very happy buying this card and having my current machine as a back up/portable gaming rig.

Oh it will boost your machine, I'm hoping to see one and half times the performance of my X1950 Pro at the very most. Compared to your 7600 you'll see a very decent increase I'd suspect.

looks like the finaly got ccc working for HD3850agp so that meens that hd3850agp is comming closer to my agp scoket

and i allready got my agp socket running at 98,99mhzx8 ^^

It looks pretty good, for amd users with their X2's this will be a great card for upgrading from their old X1950/7950, my PCIE version doubled the framerate over my old 7950GT AGP

so this will be a big upgrade for AGP

its actually a better option than the bench suggests.. they did pick the worse two games on the planet (world in conflict and supreme commander) for showing up the problems with the old single core P4..

with other games it wouldnt be of a much of a problem.. the odd low in those two games dont matter that much either.. they aint exactly "twitchers"..

as for dx10 and vista.. as they say.. its not much of a loss.. vista on an older machine dont make a great deal of sense and nothing plays dx10 decently anyways..
