**FIXED** MSI RX 570 4GB issues

So i got given this card as it had issues ex-mining GPU <, so here are the issues it has, it will post 5% of the time the rest of the time it wont have any video, there are no artifacts in windows or games but it will last about 5-10 seconds with load and then it will gray screen, so any ideas or is this thing had it lol? the bios on the card no idea if its correct or not i did try other bios's this one seem to work the others would lock windows up.

GPU-z stress test makes the screen go green lol

Most likely it does not have the correct BIOS. If you don't provide the details of the card such as the model or what does the sticker on it says I doubt anyone can help you with that. I am always baffled as to how do you people expect anyone can help you if you provide next to zero information.

Bit of advice for the future, avoid cards that have been used for mining. I know the prices are very tempting but you never know if you will end up with a useless piece of junk.

dont (good) miners alter their bios to use very specific clockspeeds & memory voltages/timings/etc? too low memory voltage would be unstable for games but could be fine for mining, you might as well flash an official bios just to be sure

since you have a known mining card, it's of use to experiment with it, i wish review sites would do this

Card has been flashed with the correct bios also i got the card for free!

The card doesn't post its very hard to get to post so maybe its not bios related .

Just an update i fixed the issue....

ill leave what i did to fix it here just in-case someone runs into this issue, most likely a miner.

I removed the cooler and small heatsink over the VRMs, re-did the paste on the die and put it back together, I then re-flash the card using cmd and ati flash, i force flashed it with the correct bios over 20x times, for some reason the bios chip had issues and the bios just wasn't being flashed correctly, most likely a issue with the bios chip re-flashing it over and over fixed any corruption it had, after doing this the card posted and pasted 24 hours of stress testing with no issues.
