This is the one is i am interested in.I like this one because it comes with a Pcie riser and does not need an external power supply. :) When sellers sell thin clients a lot don,t come with power supply.o_OI take it no one has one of these. :( Or a thin client o_O

Hi, I have this one. (S220)
The machine uses internal CF card, it's very fast and easy to use.
But the CF card is the main problem here.
Due to the CF card I am having trouble to install any NT style OS. (tried W2000, W7, XP, XP Embedded).
There is standard ATA connector inside which is great, however there is no 12V power rail.... so you can't connect any HDD without the powersupply modification / replacement.
DOS works fine and it works with SBEMU !!! which is great.
Windows98 works, but .... I have some issue finding correct VGA drivers. Having a lot of OS related issues, probably downloaded some weird W98.iso ...
There is a ton of better thin clients out there that cost less, but this one has "all in one" which was one of it's pros. , the CF card sounds like a pro, but it forbids any use of modern OS on the machine.

You can use any laptop 2.5incher HDD and call it a day.

I just received one of the s220 and would like to use the on-board sound card with Dos MAME in FreeDos. I've never used SBEMU before but giving it a try. I have it loading showing Sound Blaster emulation on AC97 Version 1.0 beta2c and it recognizes/finds the card as a VIA VT82XX AC97. Real mode support and protected mode support enables, OPL3 emulation enables at port 388h and the sound blaster 1.5 emulation enabled at adress: 220, IRQ: 7, DMA: 1. However, MAME does not seem to recognize there is a Sound card. Would you be willing to share your configurations in Autoexec.bat and Config.sys and what version of SBEMU you are using? Is there anything I am missing? Does anything need to load concerning the AC97 after SBEMU loads that I'm just not aware of? Any help is appreciated.
