I like the crystalline light bar but I don't like the gold finish on them. They look acceptable on silver. I would prefer black or grey brushed aluminium.

Hmm does this Trident Z pass the Batman litmus test? Umm NOPE, too damn shiny and sparkly for the Batman.

not with that shiny, smooth surface. You could always rough it up a bit with fine sandpaper, or use a de-glosser, and then prime & paint it, but that seems like a lot of work for a minor asthetic detail.......

Plus you would have to be EXTREMELY careful not to get any dust/debris/paint on any of the pcb's anywhere were power flows over, thru or along whatever path(s)...
