Fitting two 3090's in a case might not be a trivial matter.

Strange Brigade saw 90% scaling in Vulkan! Would that beat a 4090?

Shadow of the Tomb raider saw >50% scaling in average FPS.

It's strange that some of their SLI tests seemed to only work in Vulkan?

SLI is hopelessly dead, even though I understand a lot of people think it's cool (I did too). If anything, I'd say the 4090 is still faster, simply because it can utilize all resources available to it, even if its core is too wide to be efficiently utilized by games. SLI exacerbates that problem + creates a bandwidth, interconnect, driver optimization and scheduling issue which simply cost the card far too much performance to make it worth it.

They just can't be that powerful as recent GPU's unless it's watercooled.
