i just got a NV79 from future shop i cant find it anywhere else for sale but here is my spces
its over kill for a a laptop its got 8 gigs ddr3 2x 500 gig hhd and its a 17.3 inch led 1600by900 display :rockout:

the cpu goes up to 3.3ghz with turbo boost and gets HOT it games from 65-85 deg the gpu runs a bit cooler i wanna know if its worth it to over clock the grafx on a laptop or is their anyway to get a better cooler for a laptop cuz the cooling pad im useing does nothing

it was sticker priced 1800 i paid 800+ tax cuz i work at future shop they told me its an exclusive laptop so i dont think they are sold anywhere else.

Sounds like a killer DTR. I wouldn't bother with OCing the GPU, and a good cooling pad like SP mentioned should help it out a bunch.

i just got a cheep targus coolerpad. I just done like the cpu temps i thought it being a 32 nm it would run cooler but iv seen it hit 85 deg gaming in bc2 im gonna have to buy that thing soon then lol its for "school" but i still game on it

issue is, even with a 32nm, in a laptop you are dealing with a cooler that is 1/2" thick at best.
