The third Geforce 7800 based card will have 16 pipes and 6 vertex shaders. The core will be clocked at 375Mhz and the memory at 1Ghz, which probally means that it will have 2ns memory chips. The standard 7800 will replace the 6800GT and 6800 Ultra. Now lets hope the price will reflect the fewer pipelines and slower speed.
Maybe two of these will be faster than one GTX, and maybe even at the same total price? Assuming you play SLI enabled games of course.
