No i'm not. The selection of such speakers with higher output is pretty much non existent. You either have crap 5 bucks 50000W 2.0 speakers or a 300 EUR monitor speakers, but in the middle, there is nothing. Well, it is, populated with crap surround sets. Even good 2.1 hardly exist anymore.
Also, i didn't ask for 150W speakers to be 13 bucks. Price can be higher, but i'd want for such speakers even to exist...

I am pretty sure there are decent speakers in the 50€ to 300€ range. I am not a speakers person, you might want to visit other forums to get recommendations. I have JBL Creature III, which can hardly be considered "high output", or indeed "value for money".

150w speakers ?, is that RMS ( true value ) or PMPO ? ( no industry standard for PMPO ). And even if you did have a pair of 150w RMS speakers it don't mean they will handle it either there is a few put in place like what frequency will be going though the speakers.

If ya want ya house to crumble and next door neighbors having heart attacks and feel a heavy base in your chest here ya go

And even bigger.

Going by how they rate there sub ( which is in RMS it looks like the others ( like the VE 15F ) will deliver the 150w RMS and then some...

Your bigger problem may lay more in to a amp what can deliver that kind of power continuously at a reasonable price that is as the speakers would have to match the amp.

The other issue would be if you need that much power in the size room as it would not sound right as the sounds just reflect around the room in the end spoiling the sound.

$13? Are these designed for 3rd world countries?

I cannot imagine that there is an acceptable quality for $13.

Good computer speakers are the KEF X300A ($800), as an example, they also have an included DAC (soundcard).

You would be surprised, some cheap speakers sound better than what their price suggests. At any rate not everyone can hear the difference between a $10 speaker and a $1000 speaker, let alone appreciate the difference. I for one, like good sound, but on the other hand I can live with crap speakers. My setup of Creative Fatality HS800 for gaming and UE TF10 for "outside house" will give you a rough idea.

So true, my ideal speakers that are actually available and most compatible with the very wide range of music i actually listen to would be TOTEM although affording them is another thing.

And i know my wife would not notice the difference or be even bothered. Although she did notice once coming from computer speakers to even the cheap Polk speakers.

She never noticed the change from my Polks to my TANNOYS.. In the end it just depends what you require for you needs and what you can afford at the time.... And if your to fussy and like the very wide range of music you could end up with a bunch of speakers before you know it and HiFi gear were i was once.
