Hi

I need help flashing the bios on my gigabyte motherboard (it has a mecer bios on) I downloaded the original bios from gigabyte website, but am getting an I'd mismatch error
I believe it is because of the mecer bios that was installed
Does anyone know how to force update the bios
 
Are you 100% sure that the new bios file is for the right motherboard? And what's your board's model?

Gigabyte h110m ds2
It is the correct bios, but Mecer (a South African company) loads their own bios on the motherboards and then I can't download the original bios anymore

Ah, so it's a OEM-tinkered version. Have you tried contacting them for a bios update?
