On an AORUS X670E Master. I hate trying to navigate Giga's BIOS with my mouse because it. Is. So. SLOW. And then, forget trying to use a mouse on their Smart Fan6. Runs like molasses. I'm guessing these new interfaces are going to be Intel only. Of course.

The boot Aorus Boot Splash Screen also still has garbage at the bottom when booting and has done since F23 so F23,F24,F25,F26,F27

Here's the Garbage that has been showing since F23
They changed the boot image and seemed to insert a bad one

I have reported both issues to gigabyte under ticket 1548537-1 but im not going to hold my breath
as gigabyte are a pita to get to fix anything nevermind a non showstopping bug

I have been trying to get them to fix a cold boot whea related to the rtl8125b for two years and they swear its the driver and not the uefi
and want me to use a nic driver from 2019 to fix it as that doesnt trigger it

Here's said rtl8125b cold boot bug
(Its a register incorrectly set by the uefi that windows fixes on first boot and stays fixed until the power is pulled so a shutdown or reboot is fine)

Oh and a new bug introduced in F27 that i just noticed a second ago

Great to see the Eazy Mode get a overhaul. Before besides fan and basic XMP profile stuff, you couldn't go anything without going into advanced mode.

Then maybe the speed increase is exclusive to Z790 Refresh. I've only seen it on the Z790 Aorus Elite X WIFI7, and it's as fast as Asus/MSI.

To me it feels the same as it always has if anything i think my Z390 Aorus Master is slightly faster tbh
I dont know how you can say Asus is faster i built a pc based on an ASUS PRIME B550-PLUS about 18 months ago for a friend
and the bios was trash and certainly no faster than gigabyte's uefi

Gigabyte continues the mess of removing blck for locked 13th processors. That 3% (allowed by Intel for non-K CPU's) was almost the equivalent of AMD's PBO, but Gigabyte said NO!

I have been provided with bios F28a that fixes tRFC

and reported the following further bugs to gigabyte via ticket 1548537-2

Here's some further bugs/feedback for F27/F28a

Firmware F27/F28a introduced an event log entry on boot that the e-cores
are being throttled by the firmware (See Image)

Also im not sure if you are aware that in F28a
Memory Training Settings,Round Trip Latency Auto = Disabled (In the past Auto = Enabled)

which resulted in my RTL's going from 73/73 75/75 to 77/77 83/83 (not a problem as i can force enable it)
but you may have other things disabled via auto in there that should be enabled that i have no idea about

And ofc the boot logo isnt fixed in F28a but you are aware about it and have said the next firmware
release it will be fixed

There has been an event log entry on every Intel Gigabyte Motherboard since Z490 (Z390 didnt do it)
Event ID 56 that is finally fixed on F28a

That i have reported multiple times on multiple generations btw...
