You have a significant risk, very significant in fact of breaking your card force flashing a 1GB Bios on a 2GB card, it's not impossible to do in some cases but success is far from assured. You say that you were thinking of doing it to get a higher memory clock, I would suggest that the extra 1GB of VRAM will likely add more to the overall performance of your card than increasing memory speed, assuming of course the Bios you were thinking of flashing matches the memory of your existing card.

If you can upload a GPU-Z image of your card here I can look to see if I can find a 2GB card that would work that has some increased clock speeds, GPU speed increases tend to give greater performance generally than memory speed increases.

If you don't already have GPU-Z you can download it here ...............

This is a newer Bios for your card but it has the same clock speeds, the device ID matches and it is from XFX, have you tried to overclock your card yourself using MSI afterburner for example?

Yeah i did i went to 980mhz gpu/ 780mhz memory clock but that's make the gpu die so fast , nd i cant hit those frequency anymore ,is ther any benefit from the newer bios ? Can i upload my gpu bios might be helpful for someone
