Has anyone come across a solution for this problem, it always happens mid-game whether i have the settings at Ultra, medium or low. ?
I have an RTX 3080, so it should not be a DX12 issue. I've verified my install within Steam and found nothing wrong there. I've reinstalled the game but that gave the same result.

The GPU is probably dying slowly. Try to lower Core and VRAM clocks and see if it fixes the issue.

According to quite a few people on Reddit its a pretty major problem on SE5..
