Hey what’s up TPUers, I’m trying to decide on my next GPU that will perform decent on Triple Monitors (5760x1080@75Hz) sometimes I may play at 4K but not very often. I play most AAA titles; Crysis 3, BF1, BFV, Tomb Raider, CoD WWII, Black OPs IIII, Need For Speed etc...

GPUs I’ve looked at are the GTX 980, GTX 980 Ti, GTX 1070, RX 570, RX 580 (Multi GPU is an option a well)

Power isn’t a issue either as I’m using a Antec 850W modular PSU

Benchmark Scores I've actually never benched it!! Too busy with WCG and FAH and not gaming! :( :( Not OC'd it!! :(
I use a EVGA 1070 SC at the moment, it's not too bad with triple 1080P screens (I guess that is the res your playing at??) but I think a 1080 might be better with newer titles and would definitely last a little longer again.. That said, maybe even a 1080 Ti or something around that if you'd like to future proof the system/experience :)

RTX is a no for me

I refuse to have to buy various adapters for my monitors

Well I am using my current GTX 970(OC) to play games on my triple monitor setup for res 4480x1080(my side monitors are smaller then the middle one) and honestly almost all games that I played can hit that magic 60 Fps on Avg(few tweaks here&there in settings) but to be honest I still prefer AMD cards(I used RX 470)when it comes to this because there is so much more settings&optimizations for Eyefinity in general then for Nvidia Surround beside that I am always using with Nvidia cards Windowed borderless gaming to play my games in this current triple monitor setup.....Now I believe that for 5760x1080 res in 75hz which means that you also expecting 75Fps on avg. you will need at least RX 580 or GTX 980 but If you can afford then go for GTX 1070 or GTX 980TI.....GL

What your actual native individual monitor resolutions

I also prefer AMD cards as well but prices on them isn’t so decent for the performance

I don’t expect 75FPS but I do expect to be able to hit 60FPS Avg with no AA

My main monitor Acer is 1080p /1920x1080/ and I am using my "oldish" Eizo monitors (1280x1024) as side panels....it´s working GREAT but not via Nvidia surround options I am using that little program so that I can FORCE games to work in Resolution that I prefer.....It was a bit complicated before I figured all tricks...but now all games that I am playing working with no problems.....Depend of the game but AA is the first thing that I will also turned off otherwise it will EAT all my frames ....

Yes Triple 1080p is (5760x1080)

Apologises @Durvelle27 , I was not paying attention to the first post..
I'd suggest 1080 personally, as mentioned, my 1070 seems to drop a few FPS when everything switched on so I tend to go with max details and then max possible res.. No point having a high end card if it's not making everything run very pretty in my eyes..

Although currently with Dirt 3 I'm playing, 100 to 120 fps is very do able on a single 1080 with everything set to Ultra and MSAA or whatever it is, set to 4x.. 8x messes it up... I have to also run older drivers as newer drivers seem to stop Dirt 3 playing altogether....

Any sort of budget with this upgrade? I'm not sure how good SLI 1070's might be, might be lucky with some of the games mentioned above :)

GTX 1080 Ti is too expensive

It's a good time to be a buyer if you need a card.

BHPhoto is having sales for the EVGA 10 series cards.

1080 Ti is $599
1080 is $450
1070 Ti is $399.

EVGA also has the stepup program that's running for people who buy 10 series cards now.

I decided

I may end up going with a GTX 1060. That should do nicely for me until next Gen

I'm running a 1080Ti and anything with cryengine or something like TC:Wildlands will eat it up on triple 1080p. I've had to lower settings on a few games.
