I am using gpu-z 2.61/2.6/2.58 and I get this error message every time now. This program used to work fine.

"Could not start driver: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service"

I have reinstalled drivers twice now. I ran gpuz as admin. Multiple reboots. SAM/ReBAR is turned on if that is important.

NZXT CAM finds my gpu just fine. AMD adrenaline works perfectly. 2.57 works fine as well.

system:
sapphire nitro+ SE 6800xt
5800x3d
32gb gskill ram 3600 mhz
asus crosshair hero viii x570
windows 10 pro 64 bit 22h2

I've been getting reports of this but haven't been able to find out why it's happening.

Any idea what makes your system special?

I have no idea. unless its an AMD driver compatibility issue? I have noticed recent AMD drivers have been causing issues. For example steam vr would bsod my pc on recent amd drivers.

It's not an AMD issue as far as I know, I think users with NV hardware also get it. Seems to be some kind of Windows problem

Edit: the other guy with the same issue (that I'm talking to right now) also mentioned that he runs NZXT cam

Just for testing, add a 2nd Windows user account, a full admin one.
Add GPU-Z to that too, does it work fine there?

Maybe Bitlocker or similar encryption software?
