Halo MCC, Microsoft login issue

Hey guys!
I just bought the game on Steam and on the 1st start, I accidentally clicked the "x" when it asked me to login with my Microsoft account. Now I can't get the popup to open again and I can't get in the game :(
I even tried reinstalling the game and it didn't help.
Does Windows store some of these login pop-up settings elsewhere?
I'm sad cause I can't play the damn game :(

Try logging out of the Microsoft Store app if it's in your Start Menu, then unpinning it.

I tried what you said. I even reinstalled the game again. Unfortunatelly, the window to log in still didn't pop-up and I get this :(

It makes me wonder, maybe Windows saved somewhere, that I didn't want to login and now it just goes with it? Like firewall settings or something... I don't know.
I also made a ticket in their support center but who knows when they'll reply, if at all.

If I press "Retry" it just keeps rolling around like this and doing nothing...

Since I don't care about multiplayer and I only wanted to have the game in my collection, well... If things don't work out I'll go the "ARRRRR MATEYS" way :laugh:

No, no VPNs. Just clear net. All Xbox games work fine, I have FH4, FH5, FM7, Minecraft from a long time ago... All is working except this one.

Dang it, I was sure this was gonna work but no... :( I disabled cloud sync and don't even have a savegame folder from Steam.
The second folder, I have many M$ packages, but not the "chelan".
I also removed the "MMC" folder from "LocalLow", didn't help.

Edit: I went through the registry, searching for "mcclauncher.exe" and I deleted every damn instance of it, didn't even check what it was :D Well, I got to login again, this time I gave it my permissions and everything, I WAS SO HAPPY. And then... ↓↓↓↓↓↓

Guys.... I f*ckin' did it!!! :rockout:
Went into Credential Manager, deleted all the Xbox credentials, logged in again and voila!!!

I'd also like to add, that Halo Customer Support reached out to me in about 12 hours since opening a ticket and gave me this exact solution I managed to get to by myself in 1 whole day of tinkering. :laugh:

The solution is to:
1. Open Credential manager
2. Go to Windows Credentials
3. Delete all "Xbl|__________" credentials (this is kinda time consuming)
4. After deleting them, try launching the game again and it should work :toast:

Asking mods to change the title of the thread to "SOLVED: Error encountered while signing in to Xbox Live", so people can find this on Google easier :)
