I’m currently trying out an i9 12900KF and decided to do a stability test on OCCT (CPU+RAM). When it starts I noticed the Volt reading on the upper left going straight to 1.5-1.51v constantly but staying at 59c-60c. And I was checking with HWInfo 64 that value and it came back as 1.50-1.51 on VR Out. While on the Core VID, it gave a reading of 1.38v constantly and the same for the temperatures (59c-60c).
When I tried to do only the CPU stability test the VCore was between 1.38-1.48, most of the time being around 1.42-1.46, power usage skyrocketed to 241w and temperatures at around 90c, this is being cooled by an Artic Liquid Freezer III 360mm
This is paired with a Asus TUF Gaming B760-Plus WiFi D4 on the latest non-beta bios. Version 1663 - 2024/08/15.
So is this behavior normal? Should I be concerned about it?
I would greatly appreciate the help!
Thank you.
