So i was just doing some minor testing with my 3080/r9 3900x in the testing range to see how high i can get.
i was easily hitting 400 but the game felt so jittery/laggy(like the image was constantly tearing, at least that's what it looked like)when i moved my cursor around.
I just wanted to ask if anyone has the same issue, since i thought with my card especially, to get a smooth gameplay the higher the fps go but it's literally the other way around.
Locking the fps to lets say 235(under my hz) the game felt super responsive again.
Is that because the refreshrate is just not in sync with my fps and that is causing this stuttery feeling?
I was monitoring my fps and it literally didn't dip under either 300 or 400 while i was testing it, so could it just be some serious out of sync issue?
Would be cool if anyone could try and test it out so i can do some more research on it.
I've played on low settings, 1080p @240hz and fps cap either 300 or 400 fps.
appreciate you guys
