Unless i'm really lucky, as this has never worked before.. i have managed to get my 1080P screen to hold it's overclocked 74hz refresh rate even at 4K, i had the custom resolutions with the 74hz rate already in the control panel, then i enabled DSR in 3D settings and 74hz has since stuck with those resolutions.

Vsync is on through NVCP not in game.

I always create custom resolutions in NVCP and never had any problems, although I've seen people complaining about it here on TPU.

What ForceWare are you using? This thing was so broken for 4K DSR at 144Hz that I stopped bothering with it entirely. I did report it to NVIDIA and we worked through several examples, but I haven't heard from them since. I guess I'll have to try it then. Running 4K DSR on a 144Hz screen at DSR forced 60Hz was painful on my eyes.
