Hitscan is a new name on the peripheral market, offering the ambidextrous Hyperlight as a first release. Weighing 40 g, the Hyperlight comes with PixArt's PAW3395 sensor and Omron optical main button switches, and true 8000 Hz polling is supported through the separately available 8K dongle.

One would think the market for twink mice is saturated.

Still wish for more experimental shapes to come out. The Hitscan is… just kind of a boring claw shape? It’s not a clone, which is nice, but I am starting to agree with Zy that the market is oversaturated with similar products. Like, what did we have that’s really out there after the MZ1, just several various “fingertip only” shapes and maaaaybe the Xtrfy M8? I am firmly of the opinion that there’s still room to play around with.

As for me, even the MZ1 didn’t feel particularly innovative in terms of shape, it reminds me of an old Amstrad mouse I used to have decades ago!

Basically this is an interesting product due to the 8K polling rate, otherwise it is another bland clone if the traditional mouse shape.

But that is a separate purchase. So, a mouse with a dlc. Great.

Yeah well, i agree that there are a lot of similar mice out there now. But this is the first in a long line, where the review doesnt contain any significant negative points.
So i got quite interested.
But sadly, this mouse is nowhere to buy. Is there any info on availablity?
