Hello,
My hotspot is reaching it's maximum temp 110°, but temperature is only reaching max 75°. I don't know the reason for such a huge difference.

That difference might be because of a poor thermal paste application or a wrong sensor reading/ How is it in games, did try to monitor with HwInfo64 or GPUZ or use the overlay from AMD to check the temps in gaming ?

Yeah, It's same in pretty much any program. I don't know if i should worry about it or can I just ignore it.

Re-apply the thermal paste. It's easy to do and doesn't take long. I did a few days ago on my RX 7900 XTX and the hotspot temp dropped from 100 deg c˚ to 72 deg c˚. Now I can barely hear the fans when playing a game or running a benchmark.

Yeah, but I have never done that. I'm kinda worried about breaking something and also taking heatsink off seems and on seems hard at least from what I've seen

Bad contact and/or dried paste. Repaste the card like already mentioned.

RMA it if you don't want to repaste it yourself then. 6800 XT is probably no longer covered under warranty, though, so it will cost you. Alternatively, look for a reputable third-party service that will repaste it for you. That hot spot delta is way too large.

It needs doing, and it's an easy 15-minute job but I can understand the hesitation on a somewhat valuable GPU if you've never done anything like it before.

What model of 6800XT do you have? I suspect a youtube guide exists for it somewhere.

Repasting isn't really a scary thing to do. But like mentioned in this thread, it is just a matter of checking guides, understand them well and gather the courage ;).
When taking the heatsink off, keep in mind that you possibly also have to replace some thermal pads when they break (no harm done), just make sure you have all the spare materials when starting this endavour.

For illustration;
My delta-T is around 29C (which I consider just within acceptable range);.
[ once I finally have time to clean my custom water cooling loop I'll go for TG Kryosheet as TIM, despite the fact it is electrically conductive :eek: and hope to reduce the delta-T ]

My hotspot is reaching it's maximum temp 110°, but temperature is only reaching max 75°
Has it been like this before, or did the temps increase over time? Check the fans/coolers/case filters if they need to be cleaned to improve airflow, so the GPU temps (including hotspot) go down as well.
