Hotspot temp v GPU temp

Before I need to go and post screenshots, I just want to know if there is acceptable range for a difference between hotspot temperature and GPU temperature.

I have an XFX 6900XT. Gaming the GPU temperatures are between 66-68 degrees celsius. The hotspot is 91-93 degrees celsius. I have used both GPUZ and HWInfo64 to monitor.

My 2070 only ever has a 10C difference, usually ~63C under load and 73C Hot Spot. Maybe others can chime in what their temp difference is.

Yes its normal for GPU/HotSpot temps to have a difference even up to 30°C some times if you compare on both the max temp.
I bet the average temp difference would be closer.
