When my WhatsApp was installed on an iPhone 6, I was using a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro as a linked device. Since linked devices are logged out if the primary device is inactive for 14 days, I would occasionally log in and out to keep it active.
Because of this, I noticed that many messages and photos were missing on the iPhone 6, with some days completely empty. However, on my linked device (Redmi Note 9 Pro), all messages and photos were intact. The same was true for WhatsApp on PC.
Today, WhatsApp has ended support for the iPhone 6 version, meaning I can no longer access WhatsApp on it, and in 14 days, I will also be logged out from the linked device. Is there any way to back up the WhatsApp data from my Xiaomi and use it as the primary device?
Additionally, if I back up the WhatsApp folder on my Xiaomi, reset WhatsApp, set it up as the primary device, and then restore the folder, would it work?
