I will buy it from GOG, pirate it, or i will not play it at all. Centralized, pimp-reminding, we-do-it-for-you, give-us-your-data-we-love-you-honest-! services are really not my thing.
Can understand the conveniences and the above notwithstanding, but in all honesty, they aren't a factor for me; never have been.

I like doing things myself. I like being the sole person responsible for my things. And i like things private.

(of course, i also don't use Facebook, My Space, Instagram, and so on.. so O.K., not your average 'user' ,lol)

I started using Steam when I bought my Asus gaming laptop back in 2014.

Before that mostly pirated games...

Luckily I never had any problems with Steam sofar.

You don't need to "login" to your Steam account on that page.
Just make your profile public for a few seconds and afterwards set it back to private.
