I want to buy a second hards GTX1080 card which has been locked driver by NVIDA, Are there any method to unlock driver??

that would be a amazing, never seen a RTX1080 :) , do you mean GTX1080 or RTX2080 ?.

Never seen one of those too :). do you mean driver or bios ? cannot think why you would want to edit driver but it can be done same for the bios mate.

What exactly do you mean by "driver locked"? I have never heard of this term before.

Thanks for your comments, I want use it for AI model training. Now there are two kinds of GTX1080, one is stand version other is driver locked version. The driver locked version offen used to Biticon dig out.
driver locked version is high rate of preformance / cost, So I think there is someone can fix it.

you may need to flash the bios, theres plenty of youtube vids to show how, ive flashed plenty of AMD cards but never Nvidia ive never had the need to tell the truth mate. maybe someone with more know how can chip in.

Are you kidding ? it is not april 1st.
Probably talking about a NVIDIA P104-101 , not a GTX 1080.

If not, just update the damn driver.

kerhac => ker hac => hac ker ???
You want to do AI model training? Maybe a bit out of your league.

It sounds like he wants to use a standard driver on a crypto mining card, guys. This would be a real thing.

Just don't buy this card.
Probably some chinese scammers selling P104-101 as GTX 1080.

From reddit: Chinese GTX 1080 GUIDE (NOT RECOMMENDED/DO AT YOUR OWN RISK) , read this thread.

plus, if it is a P104-101 it will only have a PCIe 1.0 X4 interface according to the GPU database.

It can be done with some "3rd party patch and certificate" apparantly , for using a Crypto Mining Processor GPU for graphics.

=> How to use Miner GPU as Gaming GPU , of course one needs to know the card model , and the equivalent to turn it into.

But Nvidia doesn't want CMP GPU's be used with NVIDIA Development Tools.
CMP GPUs are assumed to be for production and deployment only, and therefore do not require DevTools support.
Please use non-CMP GPUs for development and performance tuning of CMP software.
