I'm thinking to upgrade GPU / video card in my HP 8570w laptop. It is DreamColor model, with 32 GB of memory, Intel Quad Core i7-3840QM processor and NVIDIA Quadro K2000M video card. What would be my best options for such upgrade? I'm considering NVIDIA Quadro M2200, but not sure if it is going to work with 8570w even after vbios update and driver .inf file modification. I appreciate your thoughts on that very much.

Thank you very much.

You could probably use another MXM A card from a newer HP, and it would work. I haven't ever done that before, so take what I say with a grain of salt :) Something like this M2200 from an HP ZBook might work: HP Zbook g4 Nvidia Quadro m2200m 4GB Graphic Card 7924955-001 #90056 4066861000395 | eBay
Granted, that is a bit too much to pay for a GPU like that, but if you can get one cheaper, it might be worth a shot. Make sure it has a free return policy though, as laptops tend to be very finnicky with parts like that. Good luck!

Thank you so much. You just read my mind - I'd like to upgrade to that GPU.
